We couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience for our wedding! From the very beginning, Hank and his team was professional, attentive, and incredibly easy to work with. They took the time to understand our vision and delivered a menu that was not only beautifully presented but absolutely delicious.
Walking into Food Fix feels like stepping into someone’s passion project warm, casual, and buzzing just enough to feel alive without being over the top. Their counter-order system (you order and then seat yourself) keeps things relaxed, and the staff seems to genuinely care about making your meal good.
I fell in love with this place with just one bite. I ordered their famous Porkstrami sandwich and holy cow!!! It was one of the best things I've ever tasted in my entire life. It was flavorful, juicy, tender and just checked all the boxes. The place is clean, laid back and was very enjoyable to be in. The staff was happy and friendly which is a rarity these days. They had a nice selection of craft beers as well as homemade desserts. The only problem I found with this place is that they are not down the street from my house. I'd go back daily if I could!
I just happened upon this hole in the wall restaurant while on recess from jury duty. The prices seemed high to me at first but then I realized almost everything was artisanal, and the portions very generous. I am very glad I decided to try it!! Hands down some of the best food I have had in Modesto and the craftsmanship that goes into every component is admirable. The #16 tap fruited sour was one of the best beers I have ever had. I had the peppered sandwich at recommendation and it was so good! I will definitely be coming back and bringing anyone that I can with me

Food was amazing. I got the grilled chicken sandwich forgot the exact name but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu tbh. Also the seasoned fries are amazing.
Great beer selection and tasty food. There is an outdoor patio area which is nice when you bring your dogs. We had a tasty pastry stout today.
We visited on. Thursday afternoon around d 2pm. It was not busy at all. We got our food and drinks super quickly. Good variety of beers on tap. I got the cranberry cider, and it was great. We ordered sandwiches all around. Food was excellent. So good. The jalapeno mac and cheese was just right. We also got the Filthy fries. Also excellent. Definitely coming back. Service was also great, friendly and fast.
I've had just about everything on the menu and it never disappoints. Made from scratch daily breads and the local ingredients really shine in all the recipes. The local brewery's on tap (20 taps) is a big plus. Not only is the food and service always top notch, they also offer classes (sausage making, bread making, etc) and beer pairing dinners. Definitely a highly recommended stop.
Anything Hank whips up is sure to please, and excel. He cooks for the people, and his staff help carry the establishments awesome vibes of being something great without being snobby or rude. Proud to see this place representing the the man and his passion for making something good, and accessible without cutting any quality corners. This stuff is straight fire.🔥🔥🔥 Hope this place lasts as long as I do! Good Job Hank, truly u do food like the the Ramones do Punk Rock!!
